Eco Veritas

The CUINA VERITAS project developed by Eco Veritas supermarkets, aims at reducing food waste along the value chain by creating a new range of ecological, organic products, made of fresh, top-quality fruit and vegetables that consumers reject due to appearance and would otherwise have gone to waste.

Verbund

Verbund is one of Austria’s leading electricity companies and one of the largest producers of electricity from hydropower in Europe. In 2013, the electricity company Verbund and the engineering and electronics company Siemens established jointly the company E-Mobility Provider Austria GmbH & Co KG.

Vélib’ / JCDecaux France

Created in 1964, JCDecaux is the world’s second- largest outdoor communications company. Vélib’, when launched in July 2007, was the largest self-service cycle share system in the world.

The project “Frigo y tú” (“Feet in the Street” in its international version) by Unilever is an inclusive business proposal developed to fight young unemployment in Southern Europe.

Smart Domo Grid

Smart Domo Grid is a new-generation integrated home appliances for enhanced energy efficiency and reduced cost of energy consumption.

SKANSKA BoKlok

BoKlok is a housing concept, jointly developed by Skanska and Ikea in Sweden. Together they build apartments for average income people who want to live in a home of their own, but still have money left at the month’s end.

ROCKWOOL group is the world’s leading producer of stone wool, headquartered in Roskilde, Denmark.Rockwool’s shelter is a housing solution based on stone wool, which was developed as an alternative to the typical tents in refugee camps.

MAW

mehr als wohnen (MAW) is a building cooperative which evolved out of 30 existing building cooperatives in Zurich in 2007. It was set up as an innovation and learning platform specifically formed to carry out the innovative Hunziker project.

Fiskars KitchenGarden is an indoor garden that allows growing herbs inside during the colder times of the year.

Kutsuplus

Kutsuplus is a modern realization of the demand-responsive transport concept that has been around since 1970s. It literally translates from Finnish as “InvitationPlus”, referring to the possibility of getting the service on demand in Helsinki capital area.

KARD Architects led the renovation, construction and development of a new Sustainable and Experiential Primary School in the city of Thessaloniki.

IKEA

The IKEA segregation kit, as well as the other solutions on waste, enables the customers to create a complex and well-adjusted system of waste management in-line with legal requirements, and to choose sustainable solutions in their households, helping to lower costs and reducing the impact on the environment.

FRoSTA

FRoSTA’s sustainable innovation is based around the products being “all-natural” (100% natural taste), MSC-certified (Marine Stewardship Council) and environmentally-friendly (additive-free).
